“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised” – Luke 4:19
Notice that the #1 priority of Jesus ministry on earth is to preach the gospel to the poor…by this point, it is common knowledge that all churches in the USA are shut down from the corona virus but have you noticed that the only legal exception is for Christian organizations that serve and minister to the poor and homeless? True!

The following from Colorado.gov website regarding Covid19 critical services:
Providers of Basic Necessities to Economically Disadvantaged Populations, Including:
- homeless shelters and congregate care facilities
- food banks
- human services providers whose function includes the direct care of patients in state-licensed or funded voluntary programs; the care, protection, custody and oversight of individuals both in the community and in state-licensed residential facilities; those operating community shelters and other critical human services agencies providing direct care or support.

Our poor and hungry homeless neighbors need four critical things: #1 be provided the Gospel, #2 heal their broken hearts with love, hope, and friendship, #3 give them fresh water, #4 feed them.
And that’s exactly what we did today. My old truck is broke down again so I busted out my bicycle and bike shelter #4 and headed over to sister Delfinia’s home to pick up a bunch of homemade sandwiches, burritos, snacks, and bottles of water. I took along my friends Chris and my friend Regan who is a registered nurse.
We distributed all of the food and water, did a lot of praying for these precious souls, and gave out many copies of Jesus Commandments. God is good, and Delfinia’s food was excellent! – dutch
