Today’s spiritual military mission for Jesus Kingdom ventured to the Bear Creek Valley of southwest Denver / Lakewood area. Pastor DeWayne Moore and Pastor Nicholas Olson joined me and we met several lost sheep along the riverbanks and amongst the trees. Bear Creek Valley became a popular homeless camping area after last year the cities of Englewood, Sheridan, and Denver evicted the homeless camps along the Platte River near Hampden and Dartmouth.

We handed out many new pairs of socks, bottles of water, and copies of Jesus Commandments and prayed for nearly everyone we encountered. Most of the precious souls we encountered were either drinking alcohol or their campsites showed evidence of alcohol consumption. The Holy Ghost directed us to point out the drunkeness and remind these precious souls that drunkards shall not inherit or enter the Lord’s Kingdom. We then prayed for deliverance from the wicked spirits of alcohol addiction with each of these people. This is a difficult ministry to meet homeless people and immediately proceed to preaching about the sins of drunkeness but it is a necessary ministry and not a message that is preached often enough.

These homeless lost sheep are precious souls in the Lord’s eyes and his Holy Bible plainly teaches that these lost souls are worth fighting for and interceding for in prayer. The sin of drunkeness is a powerful stronghold in many homeless people’s lives that brings destruction of a person’s God-given destiny. The Psalms35two ministry greatly covets your prayers to intercede for these precious lost sheep in prayer. May God open the spiritual eyes of these precious souls and may he grant freedom and repentance from the sin of alcohol addiction. In Jesus name we pray, AMEN – dutch
